In the Printhub service, depending on the product category, we apply different options to differentiate individual products.

Type

In this field, you select the type of product, e.g., the number of sheets in a block, the number of copies in a set, delivery method, spine width, etc.

Dimensions

In this field, you choose the ready-made dimensions of the product. Depending on the product structure, the provided dimensions may consist of two or three values, e.g., (l x h) length x height or (l x h x d) length x height x width. Some products offer a custom size option where you can enter your own values.

Format

We offer popular A formats as well as B formats in both portrait and sometimes landscape orientations. Format and orientation for bound products such as books or catalogs have a significant impact on production capabilities. Some processes feasible in a portrait orientation may be impossible in the same format in landscape orientation due to technical limitations of production machines. Materials are supplied in standardized A, B, and sometimes C formats. For economic reasons, the sizes of the offered products are optimized to avoid generating material waste, which leads to losses. It's important to note that non-standard formats that do not consider the division of the supplied sheet material can generate excess costs due to material losses and may cause various complications during production processes for which the machines may not be adapted. Even a 1 cm difference can significantly affect the final product price. Before starting to design a book or other complex materials in a non-standard format, we invite you to consult our technical department regarding production possibilities.
