Materials Used for Printing

Depending on the product category, we offer a selection of materials and media on which the print will be performed.

Substrates for Large Format Solvent Printing

  • Monomeric Film (Medium-Term) ORAJET 3164 - Self-adhesive, soft PVC film, white and transparent, with a thickness of 100 µm, glossy or matte surface, equipped with a transparent, permanent acrylic adhesive. The film is designed for short and medium-term applications in outdoor graphics.

The film is designed for long-term applications, including vehicle graphics. Thanks to the microchannels in the adhesive layer, the film can be applied exceptionally easily without the risk of leaving air bubbles under the film.
  • Cast, Channelled Film (For Extreme Applications) ORAJET 3951 RA - Self-adhesive cast PVC film, white, with a thickness of 55 µm, glossy surface, equipped with a gray, repositionable (with microchannels) permanent solvent adhesive. The film is designed for extreme applications, including vehicle graphics with embossing. Thanks to the microchannels in the adhesive layer, the film can be applied exceptionally easily without the risk of leaving air bubbles under the film.
  • Window Film "One way vision" (Perforated) ORAJET 3675 - Self-adhesive, perforated PVC film, white with black back, with a thickness of 140 µm, equipped with a permanent solvent adhesive. Hole diameter - 1.5 mm, print area - 50%. The film is designed for external window graphics, including advertisements on transportation vehicles.
  • Canvas - Matte canvas designed for single-sided solvent printing, with a special coating that provides extraordinary color and resolution of the printed image, characterized by high water resistance. Thickness - 0.425 [mm].
  • Whiteback Paper 140 g - GFIOP-140 material is a single-sided coated paper with latex addition, type WHITEBACK, satin, designed for single-sided solvent printing.
  • Whiteback Paper 200 g - GFIOP-212 material is a single-sided coated paper with latex addition, type WHITEBACK, satin, designed for single-sided solvent printing.
  • Blueback Paper 115 g - BLUEBACK material is a matte billboard paper with a blue back, designed for single-sided solvent printing. The blue color of the reverse side covers the previous billboard graphic, allowing the new advertisement to be applied over the old one.

Substrates for Banner Printing

  • Frontlit - Designed for single-sided printing. Made of polyester fabric coated with PVC. Very high tear resistance. Used as an advertising medium illuminated from the outside (printed side) by daylight or artificial light. Individual strips of frontlit can be joined by welding, creating a surface limited only by the strength of the banner's supporting structure or its mounting capabilities.
  • Backlit - A vinyl material that transmits and diffuses light. Designed for "back" lighting, maintaining the same visual properties as frontlit during the day. With the appropriate design, a day/night effect can be achieved - an image seen during the day is complemented by additional elements at night when the banner is illuminated. Product data sheet available.
  • Blockout - Material intended for indoor and outdoor use where double-sided graphics are required, preventing light penetration. It can also be used to darken hotel or office rooms.
  • Mesh - Designed for large and very large advertising surfaces (hundreds to thousands of square meters) or for places where the use of a full structure could damage the supporting structure or even tear the banner due to wind action. Successfully used as a scaffold cover during building renovations.

Media for Signs and Billboards

  • Foamed PVC - Has a porous internal structure, making it a relatively lightweight material. When the appropriate thickness is selected for the size of the board, it is also sufficiently rigid. The external surface of foamed PVC boards is matte and usually has a slight orange peel texture. They usually do not have UV protection, and their surface slightly yellows with prolonged exposure. Available board sizes: 1220 x 3050, 1530 x 3050, 2030 x 3050 (mm).
  • Rigid PVC - Has a smooth and glossy surface resembling plexiglass, stabilized for UV (several years color warranty). Inside it has the same structure as foamed PVC. Available board sizes: 1500 x 3000, 1220 x 2440 (mm).
  • Solid PVC - Unlike foamed PVC, the material is solid, without pores (homogeneous) throughout its cross-section, significantly more rigid and much heavier, with a UV-stabilized surface (several years color warranty). Available board sizes: 1500 x 3000 (mm).
  • Cellular Polypropylene - White (opaque) color, characterized by high stiffness (comparable to cellular polycarbonate), while having a low specific weight, making installation easier and faster. Cellular boards can be used outdoors (UV protected). Lightweight, inexpensive, large - the advantages of cellular polypropylene boards appreciated by the advertising market. Available board sizes: 5 mm - 2000 x 3000, 10 mm - 3000 x 6000 (mm).
  • Dibond - Aluminum composite panels consisting of 0.3 mm aluminum sheet cladding and a polyethylene core. They are characterized by an exceptionally smooth surface and unparalleled stiffness, with a relatively low weight for their thickness. Very durable material, resistant to weather conditions, excellent for both sign production and spatial constructions. Allows creating interesting internal advertising applications (including gadgets). Available thicknesses: 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm. Available board sizes: 4000 x 1500 (mm).
